Welcome to our website! VORSI-CONGO is a faith based NGO. It was started on November 22nd 2000 by a group of religious leaders concerned with making their own contribution in the fight against AIDS. VORSI-CONGO's work extends over the whole of the Democratic Republic of Congo; with regional representatives in Boma, Mbandaka, Kikwit and Kisangani.
VORSI'S Vision
The world quakes with the fear that HIV/AIDS imposes on it. Humanity sighs with the negative impact of HIV/AIDS on individuals and communities. Should we give up? Far from that! We see humanity working together in a victorious march over HIV/AIDS. We see a world where the fear, shame, rejection and stigma of HIV/AIDS will be banished A world where AIDS will no longer have a negative influence on the social awakening and development of the country. On that day, we will be able to say: Oh AIDS is finally vanquished! |
